Occupational Therapy Assistant, West London, London

Pay rate – £31.51 per hour
Contract role

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant in West London.
You will need to have experience in this role within a Local Authority or NHS setting.

Role:
  • Work as a member of the Complex Occupational Therapy Service with a clinical caseload of individuals with complex multiple pathologies exhibiting psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social problems, or age-related conditions.
  • Assess and advise residents on all aspects of their daily life, in accordance with relevant legislation including The Care Act 2014, the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986, the Children Act 1989, the NHS and Community Care Act 1990, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
  • Order equipment up to £1000 with authorization from line management.
  • Work flexible hours based on service demand.
  • Maintain concise records of assessments and contacts with residents, relatives, and professionals, following departmental and professional policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • NVQ level 4 desirable.
  • Experience working with diverse populations across various settings and age groups.
