South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support learners with learning and communication differences. You will assist the Occupational Therapist to implement recommendations and contribute to holistic support plans across multiple sites.

You’ll run individual and group sessions, liaise with teaching teams and families, monitor progress, and help with EHCP contributions. Strong organization and communication are essential to manage a caseload and meet deadlines

Qualificações

• Experience handling a caseload of learners with learning and communication differences (e.g., ASD, dyspraxia, learning disabilities).
• Ability to contribute to assessment/feedback for diverse audiences.
• Experience implementing Occupational Therapy recommendations in educational settings.

Responsabilidades

• Implement individual and/or group OT sessions.
• Liaise with teaching teams and families to coordinate care.
• Monitor progress of therapeutic recommendations and contribute to holistic support plans.
• Assist with EHCP reviews and maintain clear records.
