Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support learners with learning and communication differences such as ADHD, ASD, dyspraxia, and complex needs. You will assist the Occupational Therapist and help implement recommendations within day-to-day learning activities.

You will run individual and group sessions, liaise with teaching teams and families, and monitor progress to ensure therapy is integrated into each learner's day.

Responsibilities

• Run individual and group sessions to support participation in functional learning activities.
• Liaise with teaching teams and families to provide a coordinated approach and ensure therapy is integrated into learners’ days.
• Monitor therapeutic recommendations for effectiveness and contribute to holistic support plans and EHCP reviews.
