Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is offering an Apprenticeship Opportunity for a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant based in Scunthorpe. The role involves supporting adults in the community with person-centred activities and occupational interventions to promote rehabilitation and independence.

The apprenticeship includes training with college, with around 20% of hours spent on study to obtain a nationally recognised qualification.

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject is required or apprenticeship offered.
• Enthusiastic and motivated candidate with caring, reliable, and organised approach.
• Interest in community-based occupational therapy and rehabilitation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver agreed individual and group occupational therapy interventions under supervision.
• Support community-based assessments and help service users develop independent living skills.
• Contribute to planning, evaluating groups and monitoring progress with timely updates.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and mentor students.
