Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Newham, London. This full-time role offers up to £25 per hour on a 3-month contract, with ASAP start, and hybrid working (1–2 days on site).

You will support rehabilitation and reablement for adults in the community, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and using electronic records to monitor outcomes. Applicants should have Local Authority experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a person-centred

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of rehabilitation and reablement programmes for adults living in the community.
• Work alongside Reablement Officers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other health and social care professionals.
• Assist with assessments, reviews, and outcome monitoring.
• Support service users to maximise independence and achieve agreed rehabilitation goals.
• Assist with equipment provision and assistive technology interventions.
• Maintain accurate records using electronic care management systems.
• Collaborate with health, social care, and third-sector partners to support ongoing care needs.
