Job summary

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) in Putney, London, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant on a full-time fixed-term contract of 1 year. You will support Occupational Therapists in clinical activities and administrative tasks, with opportunities within the Brain Injury Service.

Situated within beautiful gardens and grounds, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is a leading national centre of excellence and one of the longest-running charities and independent hospitals in the UK. Set in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the RHN provides adult person-centred services across the entire care pathway—from post-acute rehabilitation to end-of-life care, for people with complex neuro-disabilities and their families. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with an interest in the treatment of patients with neuro-disability. The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and have relevant experience of working with people with disabilities. Good self-organisational and time management skills, together with an understanding of the purpose of rehabilitation are key requirements of the roles. Working closely with Occupational Therapists and the Multi-Disciplinary Team members, your role will involve assisting within an allocated clinical activities and administrative tasks as directed. There are opportunities on the Brain Injury Service. We offer the opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of our services for individuals with complex disabilities. Self-development is encouraged through supportive teamwork, training opportunities and regular supervision.

We help those with the most complex of health needs and disabilities including degenerative or progressive conditions as well as providing palliative care. The patients we support usually have complex physical challenges alongside their neuro-disability.

Compensation Range £28,939.00 - £30,688.00
