Are you passionate about working with people and seeking a new challenge to develop your skills in an inpatient mental health setting? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our well-established team at Lynfield Mount Hospital.
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will support therapeutic activities in groups and 1:1, assist with clinical assessments, and help patients work towards recovery. The role is vital in ensuring a positive and therapeutic hospital experience, emphasizing risk management and professional relationship development.
Under the supervision of Senior and Clinical Practitioners, you will carry out occupational interventions based on assessments, including individual and group work. You will support a clinical caseload and take leadership from senior staff within a delegation framework.
You will also ensure high standards of safety, promote equality and sensitivity, and treat patients, families, and colleagues with respect and dignity.
