Position Purpose

Assist in providing quality patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Provide timely documentation as per department requirements.
• Support department operations and development.
• Report patient status changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid license and good standing with regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.
• CPR certification required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move intermittently, lift over 100 pounds with assistance, and perform physical activities required for patient care.
• Must meet health requirements set by the facility.
