Location: Wiltshire, England | Sector: Medical & Nursing | Salary: £35.00 per hour

Sirona Medical Social Work department is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the reablement team on an agency basis.

We provide both locum and permanent opportunities nationwide, recruiting Social Workers across all levels, from entry-level to Head of Service.

Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our agency. The Reablement team focuses on positively impacting individuals' lives following illness, injury, loss of confidence, or hospital admission. Led by Occupational Therapists, the team includes Occupational Therapy Assistants and Support Workers.

You will work proactively with clients in their homes to promote independence, well-being, and reduce long-term care needs. Responsibilities include conducting strengths-based assessments and collaborating with clients and their families to develop and implement creative reablement plans to help clients achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• BA Honors or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
