Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a proactive Occupational Therapist to join Belmont Secondary School in Rawtenstall. You will apply a holistic, therapeutic approach to support students’ daily needs, ensuring safety, comfort and sensory integration throughout the school day.

You will conduct assessments, deliver bespoke interventions, prepare reports and sensory profiles, and share knowledge with staff and external partners.

Qualifications

• OT BSc (Hons) required.
• HCPC registration required.
• RCSLT or RCOT membership required.
• Awareness of sensory integration/sensory regulation approaches.
• Experience with children and/or adults with intellectual disability/autism with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Undertake standardised and non-standardised OT assessments.
• Deliver bespoke interventions and prepare sensory profiles.
• Write reports and other relevant documentation.
• Provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support students.
