Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Tailored Individual Care Team at County Hall, Glenfield. You will assess, plan and deliver interventions to promote independence and wellbeing for adults in the community.

The role requires HCPC registration, a recognised OT qualification, moving and handling skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid/flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.
• Experience in social care or community OT settings with relevant legislation knowledge.
• Advanced use of moving and handling, equipment provision, and adaptations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise a varied caseload, including complex and high-risk cases.
• Undertake comprehensive OT assessments and deliver person-centred interventions.
• Promote independence, safety and wellbeing, with safeguarding and risk management.
