Job summary

David Lewis School, College and Residential Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the multi-disciplinary team supporting children and adults. You will assess and treat a specialist caseload across educational and residential settings, using on-site facilities to evaluate functional independence in social, communication, employment, education and life skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification (or equivalent) and HCPC Registration.
• Ideally be a Registered member of RCOT.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; a strong team player with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment and treatment of a specialist caseload.
• Support development of Occupational Therapy services and meet the needs of service users.
• Work within the multi-disciplinary team and utilize on-site facilities to assess independence in social, communication, education and life skills.
