Job summary

David Lewis Occupational Therapy Service in Warrington is seeking an experienced occupational therapist to provide person-centred therapy to children and adults within the David Lewis School, College and Residential Services. The role supports a multidisciplinary team with opportunities to shape service development and delivery on-site.

The successful candidate will hold an OT degree and HCPC registration, ideally be RCOT registered, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification and HCPC Registration.
• Ideally be a Registered member of RCOT.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment and treatment of a specialist caseload.
• Join a multi-disciplinary team to shape OT services.
• Utilise on-site facilities to assess independence in social, communication, education and life skills.
• Engage in continuous development and supervision for therapists.
