Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Band 5) to join a 23-bed high dependency learning disability service in Birmingham. You will assess and develop OT treatment plans, working within a multidisciplinary team to support service users through admission to discharge.

The role includes regular on-site clinical supervision, a 12-month service pathway, and opportunities for professional development. 40-hour week, salary in line with Band 5, and DBS checks on offer.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with appropriate safeguards clearance.
• Experience working in learning disability mental health settings is desirable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme based on service users' needs.
• Collaborate with a full multidisciplinary team to support admission to discharge.
• Receive regular on-site clinical supervision and participate in service development.
