Job description

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Active Care Group, is a modern independent hospital providing an inpatient Level 1 intensive brain injury rehabilitation service (29 NHS England funded beds) for the South West of England and a further 23 slower-stream neuro-rehabilitation beds (Level 2). Both services are managed in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive team and develop your skills in neurorehabilitation. You will be providing Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs following an acute neurological event such as traumatic and acquired brain injury, or other neurological conditions. The team consists of a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine and a Consultant in Neuropsychiatry, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses and Rehabilitation Technicians. Interdisciplinary working is optimised through shared goal setting and treatment opportunities. We pride ourselves on delivering patient-centred, holistic and innovative therapy to promote positive rehabilitation outcomes for our patients.
