Witherslack Group is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs within our Sandwell Learning Centre, supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
The post is a maternity cover, based on-site, with a commitment to supervision, development, and a structured clinical training programme.

This role is based at Sandwell Learning Centre, covering maternity until July 2027. The role is 2-days-per-week.
our fully integrated therapeutic, education and care enables young people to realise their full potential, whilst developing their social and emotional resilience for the next chapter in their lives. The unique characteristic of our integrated provisions are the delivery of wraparound education, therapy and care to all children and young people 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Across all of our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of our expertise andbreadth of provision. Our young people present with a complexity of need including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs.
You will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
this ensures that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care and support we offer all of our children and young people. You will provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.
