Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is hiring an Occupational Therapist to assess, design and review reablement plans that promote independence for service users. The role requires HCPC registration and a recognised OT qualification, with ASYE for newly qualified OTs or at least two years of post‑qualification experience for Band B.

The position offers hybrid working patterns, generous leave and a supportive team environment. A full driving licence is preferred.

Maximising Independence Service as an Occupational Therapist

As An Occupational Therapist, You Will

• Assess individuals’ functional abilities and needs to create tailored reablement programmes.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• For newly qualified OTs (Band A): Completion or willingness to undertake the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
• For experienced OTs (Band B): A minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in complex case management.
• A full driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
