Job summary

JustOT is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a client in Basingstoke. The role involves leading the development and delivery of innovative OT provision for Children & Young People with ASC/SEMH, embedding therapeutic approaches in school settings, and delivering staff training to support inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will hold HCPC and RCOT registrations, demonstrate strong collaboration with families and professionals, and provide clinical leadership within the service.

Qualifications

• HCPC and RCOT registration required.

Our well-known client has a rewarding permanent Occupational Therapist vacancy to join their teams across Basingstoke in Hampshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing and developing a high-quality, integrated occupational therapy service across the Trust.

You will:

Lead on the development and delivery of innovative occupational therapy provision

Deliver specialist, outcome-focused interventions tailored to pupil needs

Embed therapeutic approaches across the curriculum to enhance learning and inclusion

Design and deliver training programmes to support staff development and inclusive practice

Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure a holistic, joined-up approach to pupil support

Provide clinical leadership within your area of expertise

About You

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed professional who has:

A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy with HCPC and RCOT registration

Experience working with children and young people with ASC and/or SEMH needs

Strong skills in delivering training and supporting multidisciplinary teams

A commitment to evidence-based, functional and outcome-focused practice

Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
