Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible across Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent – 52-week, summer contract, and part-time options available (summer contract includes five weeks off over the summer break plus 22 days' annual leave)

About the Role An exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join an innovative, award-winning and growing paediatric OT practice. For clinicians looking to move into paediatric occupational therapy, an "Introduction to Paediatrics" programme is available, offering tailored training in areas such as fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, handwriting, and paediatric assessments (e.g. Movement ABC, BOT, Beery VMI). By the end of year one, clinicians are supported to work independently across school and/or clinical settings, backed by ongoing clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children and young people's developmental and learning needs, including those linked to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life
  • Equip key adults with practical strategies and evaluate their impact
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings

This is a varied role balancing assessment, intervention, consultation and collaboration, with a visible impact on children, families and school teams.

  • Paediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settings
