Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join our growing team in the UK. You will deliver high-quality hygiene services across client environments, focusing on exposure monitoring, COSHH assessments and practical recommendations.

This site-based, client-facing role offers varied project work, clear career progression and the opportunity to develop credentials with BOHS qualifications and recognised Occupational Hygiene certifications.

Qualifications

• BOHS qualifications including P-Certs or recognised occupational hygiene credentials.
• Experience in workplace exposure monitoring and assessments.
• Strong COSHH, EH40 knowledge and exposure limits.
• Experience with dust, fumes, chemicals, noise and vibration monitoring.
• Strong report writing and client communication.
• Proactive and long-term career focus in Occupational Hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Workplace exposure assessments.
• Dust, fumes and vapour monitoring.
• RCS monitoring.
• Noise and vibration assessments.
• COSHH exposure assessments.
• Indoor air quality assessments.
• LEV and workplace ventilation assessments.
• Risk assessments and compliance support.
• Producing clear technical reports and practical recommendations.
