Job summary

Future Select is seeking an experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their Bristol-based team. You will conduct inspections, sampling and risk assessments across client sites in the South West, servicing commercial, manufacturing and public sector clients.

The role demands robust technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver bespoke reports while liaising with clients and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant.
• Industry qualifications including W201, W503, W506 and/or W507.
• BOHS P600, P601 and/or P602 would support application.
• Robust technical knowledge.
• Excellent communicator.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Able to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, sampling and risk assessments across client premises.
• LEV testing and analysis.
• Identify risk levels for noise, vibration, dust, fume and air quality.
• Carry out COSHH assessments.
• Collect samples and store safely.
• Produce bespoke technical reports to identify risks and make recommendations.
• Act as main client contact for technical and logistical questions.
• Adhere to safety guidelines.
• Complete works within agreed deadlines.
• Foster strong professional relationships with clients.

Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits

A multi-disciplined compliance consultancy is recruiting for an experienced and thorough Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be eloquent and confident in communicating technical advice directly to clients. You will be working across a diverse range of client contracts, including: commercial, manufacturing and public sector, based in the South West of England. Our client is privately owned, with a friendly feel and busy client base. They are able to offer competitive salaries and usual benefits packages (including company vehicle and fuel expenses).
