Job summary

Future Select is recruiting an experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join our expanding Compliance and Safety team. The role covers client site visits and home-based reporting across a diverse range of premises, with travel as required.

You will assess risks such as vibration, noise, fume, mist, LEV, light and microorganisms, and prepare technical reports for clients. Candidates should hold BOHS modules (P600/601/602) and related tickets; strong communication, literacy and IT skills are

Qualifications

• Experience as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant.
• Must hold two or more BOHS modules (P600, P601, P602).
• Desirable BOHS modules and certificates such as W201/503/506/507.
• Excellent communication, literacy and IT skills.
• Willingness to travel as required by clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments, inspections, testing and sampling at client sites.
• Log and store samples, record test results and findings.
• Collate data to produce comprehensive technical reports.
• Provide updates and technical feedback to clients and meet deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to arrange site access and maintain knowledge base.

Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £28k - £43k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, a privately owned Compliance and Safety outfit is recruiting for a professional and knowledgeable individual to join their team. They are seeking an experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultant, who holds experience working across a diverse range of premises. Candidates must hold BOHS modules and M / W tickets, in addition to it demonstrating robust industry technical knowledge. You will be attending client sites and completing technical reports from home, and must be flexible to travel in line with company needs. Salaries and benefits on offer are competitive.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Good track record working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant
• Must hold two or more of the following: BOHS P600, P601 and / or P602 (further P Cert modules are also accepted)
• Ideally you will hold: W201, W503, W506 and / or W507
• Strong communication skills
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Adaptable to company travel requirements

The Role:

• Logging and storing samples
• Recording test results and findings
• Collating data to produce comprehensive technical reports
• Providing updates and technical feedback directly to clients

• Liaising with clients to arrange site access
• Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
• Representing the company in a professional manner
