This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is related to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. A key aspect of this role involves continual improvement and standardization of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, codes of practice, good practice, and industry guidelines, while promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This position is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Recommend and design control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control measures such as LEV, PPE, RPE testing and inspections.
• Deliver occupational hygiene training, e.g., asbestos awareness, dust procedures, PPE/RPE use and maintenance.
• Conduct assurance processes, including inspections and audits, across all operational sites, including support centers and NUIs, covering occupational health and hygiene standards, guidelines, and procedures, including accommodation, welfare, and food areas.
• Maintain calibration systems for occupational hygiene equipment.
