This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. Continual improvement and standardization of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems are key components of this role. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant statutory provisions, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This position is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Recommend and design control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control measures (e.g., LEV, PPE, RPE testing and inspections).
• Deliver occupational hygiene training (e.g., asbestos awareness, dust procedures, PPE/RPE use and maintenance).
• Conduct inspections and audits across operational sites, including onshore support centers and NUIs, covering occupational health and hygiene standards, guidelines, and procedures, including accommodation, welfare, and food areas.
• Maintain calibration systems for occupational hygiene equipment.
