Job summary

Optima Health is seeking an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join our on-site team in London, working on the Metropolitan Police contract. The role focuses on immunisations clinics, venepuncture and health surveillance, with pre-employment medicals including fitness for task and safety medicals.

You will collaborate with OH Technicians to deliver audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and other health assessments while managing your own workload independently in a busy on-site

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in immunisations is advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive, friendly and professional; able to manage workload independently.

Job Title: Occupational Health Screening Nurse

Location: London, SE11 4LS

Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 after probation

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours or Part Time

Right to live and work in the UK and a high level of security vetting is required for this role

Role Summary

We are looking for an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join the Optima team to be based on site in Kennington, London working specifically on the Metropolitan Police contract.

This is a varied role with a focus on delivering immunisations clinics, venepuncture and health surveillance. You will also be undertaking pre employment medicals such as fitness for task, safety critical and firearms medicals. You will also work closely with our team of OH Technicians and supporting them with health surveillance such as audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and other general health assessments.

Who Are We Looking For?

• You will need to be a Registered General Nurse


• Experience in immunisations, phlebotomy and health assessments is advantageous but not essential


• Current NMC Registration


• You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload and working independently.
