Job summary

OH Medical, in partnership with a growing Occupational Health provider, seeks an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join a senior clinical team in Wirral/Liverpool. The role blends clinical delivery with leadership and strategic input, acting as clinical lead across diverse client bases.

The position offers a hybrid arrangement combining on-site clinics and remote work, with opportunities to drive service quality, governance and development while supporting OH Advisors and Technicians.

Qualifications

• GMC registered with licence to practise.
• MFOM/FFOM or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience within Occupational Health (public or private sector).
• Strong case management and clinical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of HSE guidance and employment law in OH.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, proactive and confident working independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, fitness-for-work assessments and medical advice.
• Manage complex and escalated cases.
• Act as clinical lead supporting OH Advisors and Technicians.
• Conduct health surveillance and workplace assessments.
• Advise on work-related health issues and reasonable adjustments.
• Support health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality and service improvement.
• Liaise with clients and support service development.

Summary
