Job summary

OH Medical is partnering with a growing Occupational Health provider to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Physician for a hybrid role in Manchester.

You'll lead clinical delivery and provide strategic input across a diverse client base, acting as clinical lead to OH Advisors and Technicians. This permanent, part-time (3-5 days per week) position combines hands-on case management with leadership.

Qualifications

• GMC registered with licence to practise.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine (MFOM/FFOM preferred).
• Experience in Occupational Health (public or private).
• Strong case management and clinical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of HSE guidance and employment law in OH.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, proactive and independent working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, fitness-for-work assessments and medical advice.
• Manage complex and escalated cases.
• Act as clinical lead supporting OH Advisors and Technicians.
• Conduct health surveillance and workplace assessments.
• Advise on work-related health issues and reasonable adjustments.
• Support health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality and service improvement.
• Liaise with clients and support service development.

Summary

Criteria

• GMC registered with licence to practise
• Ideally MFOM / FFOM or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine
• Experience within Occupational Health (public or private sector)
• Strong case management and clinical decision-making skills
• Knowledge of HSE guidance and employment law in OH
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Organised, proactive and confident working independently
