Greys Specialist Recruitment is seeking a part-time Occupational Health Nurse for a leading client in Samlesbury. The successful candidate will work 18.75 hours per week, focusing on health surveillance, screenings, and emergency treatments. Ideal applicants will have experience in A&E/intensive care and knowledge of occupational health legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience working within A&E/intensive care.
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
• Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health surveillance and screenings.
• Provide emergency treatment and drug & alcohol testing.
• Conduct health promotion and safety critical medicals.

Job description

At Greys we are currently working with our client to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse on a part-time permanent basis.

This is a part time position where the successful candidate will work two and a half days (18.75 hours) per week, on-site.

You will be based on site in Samlesbury and required to carry out a varied remit inclusive of:

• Health surveillance
• Health screening
• Emergency treatment
• Drug & alcohol testing
• Health promotion
• Safety critical medicals
• Vaccinations

Requirements:

• Experience working within A&E/intensive care
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
• Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable
• Registered Nurse (Part 1)

Salary - GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 per annum dept on experience + benefits
