Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Occupational Health Clinic Nurse to join the occupational health team at the Wirral Teaching Hospital. You will participate in planning, implementing and evaluating individualized care for staff and provide vaccination administration and pre-employment screening.

You will work within the National Frameworks and Departmental procedures, liaising with infection control and OH colleagues, with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with post registration development.
• OH qualification desirable and CPD evidence.
• Experience in giving vaccinations with underpinning knowledge of public health programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide vaccination administration and pre-employment screening.
• Assess fitness to work and advise on workplace restrictions/adaptations.
• Contribute to health promotion and infection control within OH service.
