Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry seeks a capable Occupational Health Nurse to deliver frontline pre-employment and vaccination clinics, organise screening sessions, and liaise with other specialties. The role supports a flexible team structure and may involve travel across Coventry and Warwickshire.

OH experience is desirable but training will be provided; post-preceptorship UK applicants only, with mandatory immunisation reporting and UK NMC registration

Qualifications

• Current Professional Registration as an RGN (NMC) and ongoing CPD.
• Teaching and Assessing qualification or willingness to undertake.
• Evidence of surveillance experience (spirometry/audiometry) or willingness to undertake surveillance training.
• Post-preceptorship experience is required.
• Desirable: spirometry, audiometry, HAVS, forklift driver medicals, vision testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full client-centred pre-employment and vaccination OH clinic service.
• Undertake health surveillance across contracts; travel to Coventry and Warwickshire sites as needed.
• Vaccines storage and administration per Written Instructions and OH policies.
• Provide support for staff in distress or difficult situations.
• Maintain patient records per NMC guidance; ensure timely handovers and audits.
