Job summary

Health Partners is recruiting an Occupational Health Advisor to work at client sites in Newton Aycliffe, delivering a full range of clinical services including case management, health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support return-to-work plans and promote a healthier working environment.

The role requires nursing qualification with NMC registration and an Occupational Health qualification, plus experience with complex referrals.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and nursing qualification required.
• Two years of case management experience with complex referrals.
• Occupational Health degree/diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience hosting client Wellness and health promotion days.
• Trained to perform health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health case management to expedite return-to-work for absent employees.
• Advise on health issues, health promotion and health education to employers and employees.
• Work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to meet service level agreements.
• Undertake Health Surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy as required.
• Maintain patient records per GDPR and internal policies.
• Participate in Clinical Audit activities as required.
