Job summary

OH Medical is recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting a client site in Newton Aycliffe. This full/part-time permanent role requires a minimum of three days on site and offers a salary up to £43,000 depending on experience.

The role combines case management, health surveillance and wellbeing services within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with benefits including pension, life assurance, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Occupational Health Degree or Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' Occupational Health case management experience including complex referrals.
• Competent in health surveillance, fitness for work medicals, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
• Experience delivering workplace health promotion and wellbeing events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational health case management and complex referrals.
• Undertake fitness for work assessments and provide evidence-based clinical advice.
• Carry out health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
• Deliver workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support employee rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to provide an excellent Occupational Health service.
• Participate in clinical audits, CPD and NMC revalidation activities.
