Job description

OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider in a Full-Time Permanent role. This excitinghybrid role requires 1-2 days per week at theClient site in Inchinnan.

The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a multidisciplinary team to provide a full remit Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:

  • Management referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.

  • Supporting with Health Surveillance, Fitness to Work Medicals & interpreting results

  • New Entrants Medicals.

  • Providing other OH services where required, such as Vaccinations, Travel Health Services, Ergonomic Advice, or Health Promotion

  • Providing clinical supervision and support to junior team members, such as OH Technicians


Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse

  • Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Occupational Health

  • Prior experience in Occupational Health with proficiency in the provision of:

    • Spirometry

    • Audiometry

    • General Medicals

    • Drug and Alcohol screening

    • Case Management

    • Fitness for role assessments

  • Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.

  • An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.

  • Highly IT literate with excellent record-keeping skills

  • A holder of a full clean driving licence with your own vehicle and able to travel to the customer site.




Salary & Benefits:
In return for your expertise as the Occupational Health Advisor, you will receive:

  • A competitive salary commensurate with your experience level £43,000-45,000
