Join the busy site EHS team on the Inchinnan Bioproduction site, to provide EHS support to various departments both on site and remote, help with day-to-day EHS work, implementing improvements to our site programs & safety culture and assist us with our 2024/5 EHS goals.

This is a 12 month fixed term role and a development opportunity in the EHS field.

Key Objectives of the role:

  1. Assist with the day-to-day maintenance & monitoring of our site EHS management systems Intelex, procedures, planned safety maintenance
  2. Prepare internal EHS metrics, prepare and develop associated reports.
  3. Support in delivery of site EHS communications Safety Bites and engagement posts.
  4. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact and collaborate with others at all levels in the organization. Facilitate effective communication between different departments, employees, and EMEA EHS team members regarding safety and environmental matters, and provide administrative support for safety meetings and committees.
  5. Help the team with addressing LSG EHS Achievement program actions and preparing for future audits.
  6. Support with coordinating EHS training & communications for various groups.
  7. Participate in Tier meetings and facilitate EHS Gembas & audits.
  8. May facilitate and assist with incident, near miss, hazard ID investigations and root cause analysis.
  9. Support safety programs: assist in the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures promoting safe and healthy work environment initiatives.
  10. Support the team with routine EHS tasks, administration, and systems.
  11. Join EMEA EHS calls and work collaboratively with other EMEA or wider EHS team members.
  12. Perform other tasks as required to support the site or wider EHS team.
  13. Interest in Health, Safety & Environment.
  14. Familiarity with basic site safety systems such as Intelex, risk assessments, etc.
  15. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
  16. Work with integrity, involvement, and continuous improvement.
  17. Familiarity with basic site systems OCPLMS, Coupa.
  18. Familiarity with Power BI tool.
