Job Description

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is partnering with our client to recruit an Occupational Health Advisor to join their team in Plymouth on a permanent basis. We encourage applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Undertake case management, both face-to-face and over the phone, producing high-standard, quality management advice reports.
  • Evaluate medicals and surveillance results, ensuring correct advice regarding fitness is communicated, escalating when clinically appropriate.
  • Provide other occupational health services such as travel health, ergonomic advice, or health promotion.
  • Clinically support Occupational Health Technicians and Nurses.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for health surveillance escalations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified or Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN; a diploma or degree in Occupational Health is preferred.
  • Experience in a commercial occupational health setting, especially with case management and health surveillance.
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
