Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Registered Nurse with an Occupational Health qualification to join our client in Inchinnan, Scotland, on a full-time, hybrid basis allowing work from site and home.

You will provide case management for attendance, fitness for work and OH advice, deliver written reports, conduct medicals, health surveillance, and advise on legislative requirements while maintaining NMC registration.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (NMC) with Part 1.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma).
• Strong time management and attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, evidence-based case management for attendance, fitness for work, and OH advice requests.
• Deliver professional, comprehensive written reports.
• Offer expert guidance on legislative OH requirements and best practices.
• Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance following industry standards and company policies.
• Evaluate medicals and surveillance results, escalating clinical issues when necessary.
• Maintain valid NMC registration and comply with professional guidelines and CPD.
• Be proficient in OH services such as Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, and Fitness for role assessments.

What we are looking for:

We seek a Registered Nurse (Part 1) with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma. You should have excellent time management and attention to detail, with strong written and communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Understanding your own competence and knowing when to seek support to ensure safe practice is crucial. Confidence with IT systems and knowledge of data protection and confidentiality principles in occupational health are essential. Prior experience in delivering case management and OH advice will set you apart.
