An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Occupational Health Advisor to join their expanding team. Salary: Circa £48,000 or hourly rate equivalent depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team, after the offer stage.
The opportunity:
We are expanding our Occupational Health team and seeking a temporary Occupational Health Advisor for up to 6 months (part-time options considered). The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing (OH&W) Team.
The OH&W Team is dedicated to protecting the health and wellbeing of MBDA employees by providing comprehensive internal and external services.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to developing and delivering an efficient, high-quality OH service, offering expert knowledge tailored to MBDA UK's evolving needs.
You will ensure service delivery aligns with best practices, complies with policies and legislation, and meets legislative requirements.

What we're looking for from you:
What you need:
Experience in pre-placement assessments, health surveillance, case management, lifestyle screening, triage, and query response is required. You should have solid clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and be an NMC registered Nurse with occupational health experience. A current SCPHN qualification and broad occupational health nursing experience are preferred, along with strong skills in complex case management, motivation, negotiation, relationship building, and influencing.
