Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity* for until February 2026 to cover substantive post holders maternity leave.

  • Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

We are looking for an Occupational Health Adviser to assist NHS Forth Valley’s Occupational Health Service with providing management referral clinics until the 28th of February 2026. Consideration will be given to both remote and on site working.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of an efficient, effective and high quality service, providing specialist knowledge and occupational health expertise to NHS Forth Valley.

The post holder will be responsible for working autonomously undertaking management referrals using eOPAS, NHS Forth valley’s record management system.

To be able to carry out this role effectively post holders will need to be organised, have excellent communication and computer skills (Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and experience of eOPAS would be advantageous).

The Occupational Health Department is based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. We are able to offer flexibility with hybrid working by delivering case management remotely.

Applicants are required to have a recognised post registration qualification in Occupational Health.
