Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in London is seeking an Occupancy Planner to lead space planning, occupancy analysis, and client coordination across projects. You will support site strategy, develop stack plans, and collaborate with project managers to deliver within scope.

Candidates should have a BA/BS in a related field and at least five years in corporate real estate, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in CAFM and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or field of study.
  • Minimum of five+ years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CAFM space management systems and relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day change requests, space planning, and solution development.
  • Client relationship management and project coordination.
  • Site strategy support related to space and occupancy analysis.
  • Develop current and forecasted Stack Plans and space plans.
  • Coordinate with project manager to ensure timely delivery within scope.
  • Support change management for workspace and work style changes.
  • Build relationships with key client/site stakeholders for effective services.
  • Develop strategies to improve Employee Experience for planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activities will consist of day-to-day change requests, project space planning and solution development, project support including client relationship manager and project coordination, site strategy support related to space and occupancy analysis, solution outcomes and utilization metrics.
  • Maintain and analyze BU demand/supply information
  • Monitor BU demand and supply against approved plan
  • Work with the client on utilization data and sizing model information
  • Understand and incorporate workplace strategy in long-term plans
  • Identify tactical projects for implementation
  • Create current and forecasted Stack Plans
  • Develop space plans
  • Monitor unplanned activity
  • Develop and expand relationships with key client/site stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Employee Experience for planning
  • Coordinate with project manager to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope
  • Support change management as it pertains to changing workspace and work style
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.)
  • Minimum of five+ years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Maintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems and relational database functionality.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
  • Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction
