Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Operational Acceptance Testing Tester to join the Network Modernisation Programme in Bristol. The role focuses on validating non‑functional performance of wired and wireless networks prior to handover to BAU support.

You will act as the link between deployment teams and UAT testers, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and testing evidence is captured for sign‑off.

Qualifications

• Essential: non-functional testing principles and IT/network environments.
• Essential: Layer 2/3 networking fundamentals and Wi‑Fi deployment.
• Essential: use of network test tools (ping, iperf, throughput testers).
• Desirable: Juniper equipment or related IT network projects.
• Desirable: IT service management tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, SolarWinds.

Responsibilities

• OAT Delivery: execute non‑functional testing for wired and wireless networks post‑cutover.
• Dual‑Tier Validation: audit site and solution level configurations and performance.
• Testing Scope: focus on non‑functional attributes; UAT handles end‑user testing.
• Evidence & Reporting: collect test artifacts, logs, and heatmaps; raise defects via JIRA.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: coordinate with network engineers, cutover teams, and UAT testers.
• Process Adherence: follow the OAT Test Strategy and maintain auditable records.
