Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is hiring an O&M Assistant Shift Leader for the Westfield Energy Recovery facility in Fife. You will ensure safe, efficient operation from the Control Room, using the DCS and safety systems to manage plant parameters.

The role requires 2+ years in power, EfW, or similar heavy industry, with SAP (11KV) and CMMS experience, plus an engineering/processing qualification and IOSH. Shift pattern includes days/nights, with a strong HSEQ focus.

Qualifications

• A recognized qualification in an engineering or process discipline (or equivalent).
• IOSH qualification desirable.
• Experience in Power Industry, EfW or similar heavy process environment (2+ years).
• Strong understanding of plant interlocks, control loops, alarms, and trips.

Responsibilities

• Operate from the Control Room, monitor and adjust plant parameters via DCS.
• Lead HSEQ activities and stop unsafe work when required.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and coordinate with maintenance including LO/TO.
• Support emergency response and act as STL when needed.
