Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking an O&M Modelling Analyst/Developer to join the Offshore Operations team.

The role combines technical modelling with commercial decision support for global offshore wind projects, offering exposure to cutting-edge modelling techniques and collaboration with industry experts. You will perform logistics, cost and risk modelling, contribute to business cases and help train colleagues in modelling tools as you grow your expertise in a dynamic renewables

Qualifications

• Relevant degree-level qualification in computer science, engineering, economics or similar.
• Strong Python development skills for analytical or operational applications.
• Experience with Excel, VBA and HTML.
• Highly analytical with attention to detail and curiosity about drivers behind results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with complex cost or financial models would be beneficial.
• Postgraduate qualification in Sustainable Energy or Wind Energy Systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed logistics, cost and risk modelling across multiple scenarios.
• Prepare availability and cost submissions for project business cases.
• Lead modelling activities after initial learning phase and expand scope.
• Train colleagues on modelling tools and provide guidance and support.
