Job summary

Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) are seeking to recruit an additional HEMS Pilot to join our experienced Flight Operations Team, based at Exeter/Eaglescott. The role is a full-time roster under the company FTL scheme, with a starting salary of £78,540–£88,540 per annum, depending on HEMS experience, plus a £102 per shift late shift allowance.

You will operate as a HEMS single pilot, rostered for a mix of day and night shifts, working closely with clinicians and operations staff.

Qualifications

• UK CAA ATPL(H) or UK CAA CPL(H) with Instrument Rating
• UK CAA Class 1 Medical
• A minimum of 1500hrs as Pilot-in-command of aircraft
• A minimum of 500hrs as pilot-in-command on helicopters
• A minimum of 500 hours relevant operating experience (HEMS or similar)
• A minimum of 20hrs VFR at night as pilot-in-command

Responsibilities

• Join Flight Operations team as HEMS single pilot operating with clinicians and other staff.
• Roster for a mix of day and late shifts under the approved FTL scheme, nominally 4 on 4 off.
• Work as part of a team alongside clinicians and operations staff.
