Job summary

Premea seeks an NVH Test Engineer for its UK Technology Centre in Leicestershire to support motorcycle development. You will perform acoustic and vibration measurements, analyze data, and generate detailed reports, applying Siemens Testlab and RLDA instrumentation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and 2–3 years in NVH testing, with UK experience and a passion for motorcycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Full-Time).
• 2-3 years of experience in NVH testing or a related field.
• Passion for motorcycles.
• Experience working in an NVH function for 2+ years in the UK.
• Significant powertrain NVH experience.
• Experience correlating test data with simulation results.
• Familiarity with RLDA instrumentation (e.g., DC accelerometers, LVDTs, strain gauges, rugged loggers).

Responsibilities

• Conduct acoustic and vibration measurements, analyze data, and generate detailed reports.
• Select and utilize appropriate NVH instrumentation for specific tasks.
• Fit instrumentation to test items and acquire, process, and present data using Siemens Testlab software and hardware.
• Perform pass-by and other tests to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory noise emission requirements.
• Conduct correlation testing to validate CAE NVH simulation results.
• Collaborate with peers to achieve optimal team performance.
