Job summary

The Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen, is seeking a proactive Nutrition Assistant to join the Human Intervention Study Unit (HISU). You will design and prepare study diets, support the HISU kitchen, and perform dietary analysis using Nutritics while contributing to teaching activities within the Institute.

Applicants should hold a degree in Nutrition or a related subject, with strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related subject.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of food composition and food hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare study diets in accordance with protocols.
• Support day-to-day operation of the HISU metabolic kitchen.
• Conduct dietary analysis using Nutritics software.
• Assist with participant-facing activities and knowledge exchange.
