Job summary

The Ivy in Weybridge is seeking a warm and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our flagship nursery on Station Approach. You will provide a safe, caring environment and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS for children aged 0–5. The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification, a collaborative approach and safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• An Early Years or childcare qualification at Level 3 is essential.
• Safeguarding checks will be required before appointment.
• Relevant experience in childcare is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Building warm, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Observing children's progress and helping to plan their next steps.
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to provide consistently high-quality care.
