Job summary

Kindred Nurseries in the United Kingdom is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join our friendly nursery team. You will support children through play, learning and daily routines within a caring, home-from-home environment.

You will help create welcoming spaces, assist with engaging activities, and build positive relationships with children and families. You will follow safeguarding policies and participate in staff meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Previous experience with children, Early Years setting experience.
• Desirable: Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Desirable: Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support nursery team to create a warm, welcoming environment for every child.
• Help deliver engaging activities that promote curiosity and development.
• Assist with daily routines to keep children happy, safe and secure.
• Observe children's progress and celebrate achievements with families.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies at all times.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
