Academics is seeking a dedicated Nurture Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH/EBD within a secondary nurture setting. You will help tailor lessons, maintain engagement, and promote independence across KS3 and KS4 learning areas.
The role offers long-term placement through Academics, with a supportive SEN consultant and access to a wide network of partner schools. A positive, patient approach to behaviour management is essential.
Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant with a desire to work with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)? Have you had experience of working with SEMH or EBD children, and would like to further develop those skills? Are you committed in differentiating learning methods to suit the individual needs of pupils, especially those with additional learning needs or learning disabilities?
Working with a Nurture group, you will be supporting pupils across the secondary curriculum, on a long term basis.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
