Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a term-time only Nursery Practitioner to work in Nurseries around Walsall starting in September. You will provide individualized support to children, collaborate with teachers to plan tailored activities, and help develop academic, social, and emotional skills in a nurturing setting.

The role requires Level 2/3 Childcare and previous nursery experience, with strong empathy, communication and patience.

Qualifications

Level 2/3 Childcare (or ratio equivalent) is required.
Previous experience working within a Nursery.
Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with student, staff and parents.
Patience, resilience and the ability to provide emotional support.
Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to evolving needs.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support and assistance to all children in the Nursery.
Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities.
Support academic, social and emotional development, promoting confidence.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Adapt teaching strategies and resources to student learning styles.
