Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting for a Full Time Fixed Term (18 months) position in Dundee to lead the ADHD pathway within the Community Mental Health Team. The post requires a First level UK NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with active registration, and hours are 36 per week (Mon-Fri, 9-5).

Qualifications

• Must be a First level UK NMC Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disability) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience with ADHD or neurodevelopmental conditions is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ADHD pathway within Dundee CMHT, providing nursing assessments and interventions.
• Initiate/titrate ADHD medications where indicated and monitor health within shared care arrangements.
• Collaborate with Nursing Colleagues, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy and wider mental health services to maximise service impact.
